PARASITES - Long considered a problem associated with third world, underdeveloped countries, are now acknowledged as a persistent problem in developed countries. The pesky tick passes along Borrelia causing Lyme's Disease. The tick can also carry Babesia microti along with rodents and barnyard animals. Malaise, fatigue, chills, fever, myalgia, jaundice, diarrhea, cramps and renal difficulties can be present as symptoms.
Problems are created by amoebae, hookworm, pinworms, flukes, heart worm, Entamoeba Histolytica, Giardia and others. Whether from a water supply or family pet, exposure is potentially there. Symptoms include bloating, gas, irritable bowel syndrome, joint and muscle pains, sleep disturbances, skin conditions, diarrhea and teeth grinding.
