According to Samuel Hanhnemann, Miasms are the key underlying cause of all chronic illness and when treated, their "primary and secondary symptoms spontaneously disappear....". Miasms are generally acquired as genetic predispositions to disease processes, (Psora, Tuberculosis, etc.) And exhibit symptoms such as skin rashes, itching, dry coughs, warts, asthma wheezing, and recurring skin sores.
